Ewe.  Pre-registration for classes/workshops is required as there is limited seating.)


Toe Up Socks - Saturday, January 21 & 28, 2012
(this class requires 2 sessions)
9:00 a.m. each Saturday
Want to learn a different method of sock knitting? This is one
of the classes you should consider.  You will learn a different
method of casting on toe-up socks (not the usual figure 8) and
how to measure to get an exact fit.  In the first session you will
cast on and do your calculations.  We ask you be to the heel of
the sock prior to the second session.  We will do the heel
during the second session.  Each session will be approx. 1 to
1-1/2 hours.
Supplies needed:  100g sock weight yarn, US #2 or #3 double
pointed needles
Fee:  $20 (includes pattern)

Magic Loop Socks - February 4 & February 18, 2012
(this class requires 2 sessions)
9:00 a.m. each Saturday
This method of knitting socks is unique.  You will use one 40"
circular needle to knit your sock.  You can also use this
method to knit sleeves and other items in the round.
The first session we will cast on and learn the technique.  We
ask that you be to the heel by the second session.  During the
second session we will do the heel.
Supplies needed:  100g sock weight yarn, US #2 or #3 40"
circular needle
Fee:  $30 (includes pattern booklet)
